Sno-King Dog Training & Adventure Dog Ranch

With 20 years of experience in amateur dog competition and 6 years in the dog/pet care industry.  This includes 2 years as Boarding Manager  & Veterinary Assistant at an Animal care hospital in Everett.

Steve learned several beneficial skills while employed at the Animal Hospital. He was often called upon to comfort and sooth frightened dogs during medical examinations and procedures. He quickly mastered the techniques needed to safely restrain terrified animals in a non-demeaning manner, without causing any harm and without inflicting pain or injury.

Steve's compassion and love for animals shone through as he paid special attention to the emotional needs of the animals boarding there, providing them with love, affection and play during a frightening time. He is credited for restoring the "will to live," of an ill dog that had essentially given up hope. This animals owners were absolutely thrilled to have their "real dog back." 

Steve later founded his dog training business while working for a high-end doggy daycare and boarding facility in Bothell, while continuing to study dog psychology and attending "dog training" courses. His studies continue.

When the opportunity to work in a  genuine pack environment presented itself, Steve jumped at the chance, moving on to a boneafide free-range facility... (the utopia for dog care) Here he learned the importance of establishing yourself as the Pack "Alpha" and the importance of being "in the moment."

All of this leads us to the founding of Adventure Dog Ranch a 5 acre Dog boarding, Training and Daycare facility that focuses on play-time, exercise, and fun with daycare, boarding, and of course dog training.  

Board and train packages available again, beginning in September 2008.
